Chloe is a longtime barista who enjoys the community of this cafe. In 2020 she helped organize and unionize White Electric Coffee, which she and her co-workers subsequently purchased and reopened as a horizontal / democratic worker-owned cooperative. She is excited to be part of this project and the growing cooperative economy, co-imagining & co-creating beliefs into action. Chloe has been active with co-founding the RI Worker Cooperative Alliance, and is happy to talk co-op if you're interested! When not serving you a latte or dreaming & scheming, Chloe loves family, friends, food, animals, humor, art, the outside world, our inner thoughts, plants, words, naps, quirkiness and care.

Joelle Plante (she/they) has been with White Electric since 2019. She was among the original team of baristas who unionized under previous ownership and subsequently transitioned the cafe to a worker-owned cooperative during the height of the covid pandemic. She is a queer neurospicy multi-passionate art witch currently residing in Providence. When she’s not slinging coffee, she can be found tending a fire/playing guitar in the woods/painting among cats. Danny is from Providence, RI and has worked at White Electric since 2019. His favorite hobbies include video games, reading manga, working on plastic model kits, and harassing his cats.

Apollo Rios Lomba is a local Providence artist who joined the co-op in 2023. He enjoys making a funky latte and loves to party.

Julie (she/her) is a Providence-based artist who joined the co-op in 2022 and relishes the camaraderie of a horizontal power structure. On her days off, she tattoos out of her little studio with a south-facing window. On her days off from that, she sews.
